Keith Carpenter and I married August 20, 1964 (yes, it's been 35 years)! We lived in Omaha for a couple of years where Keith taught at North High School and I worked for the Omaha Public Schools and then what was Northwestern Bell. We got itchy feet and Keith decided to become a claims adjuster, so we moved to Atlanta, GA so he could go to school. Of course, thinking that we would get sent to some exotic place. Well, we ended up back in Omaha. About a year after that, we got itchy feet again and decided to move to Colorado. We lived in Greeley for a short time and then moved on to Denver where we've been ever since.
Keith taught at Cherry Creek H.S. for 28 years. I went to court reporting school, then worked in the Boulder County Courts for 5 years, the U.S. District Court in Denver for 5 years and then opened my own freelance reporting business in 1978. I ran that business until 1995 when I retired, but just from court reporting. I guess I wasn't ready to sit in the rocking chair yet. I did professional sewing for about 3 years and then decided it was time to get my real estate license. So now I am a licensed broker and loving every minute of it. I do believe it is my true calling.
Keith and I have lived in the same house for 23 years, but we are seriously thinking of buying our dream home just south of Denver, close to Parker. So we may have a new address shortly. HOPE, HOPE, HOPE!!!!
I should have a real estate website set up shortly, so will let you know when that is done.
